Do any of you still love DOTA?...and...goodbye

Even after more than 8 years it still remains the most popular game map in Warcraft 3. The reason for this is simple enough since I know a majority of players hold most of the characters close to heart.

Polls like [link] and [link] often  assist in highlighting the favorites in our list of complex yet awesome figures.

But quite recently I've noticed a rather waning interest in the game has developed amongst players primarily due to a greater desire to play other video game titles such as Dragon Age and the like. I'd like to know what you guys think about the game and compare it from way back when.

And on a simple note, this will serve as my final blog entry as an admin for this group. I have already stated several times that I planned to leave as soon as I thought this group could manage well enough on it's own and I see that it is doing just that.

It;s not that I don't like this group anymore, but because I seem to busy with other things nowadays that I rarely find time to attend to this group. Hopefully your Founder and my other admin will suffice to keep this winderful group running.

Welcome to deviantArt's first ever DOTA fanclub. DOTA as you should know by now, stands for Defense Of The Ancients which is a special scenario map in Warcraft 3 currently managed by IceFrog.

We accept all deviations pertaining to DOTA. We also accept submissions of Warcraft 3 in general but must have a stable connection with DOTA in order for it t count.

All rights go to Blizzard Entertainment for making the whole damn game possible as well as Starcraft and Diablo.
